Il docu-film “Vundes Vun van a Man” vincitore dell’All Sport Film Festival di Los Angeles

 

 

 

E ANCHE A HOLLYWOOD LE MOTO PARLANO MILANESE.

 

Il viaggio di 11 VUNICI sull’Isola di Man a bordo di una CR&S.

Le moto CR&S sbarcano a Hollywood grazie al docu-film “Vundes Vun van a Man” di Raffaele Canepa prodotto da Key Frame in collaborazione con la casa motociclistica milanese. La pellicola è stata premiata come migliore documentario straniero alla seconda edizione di “All Sport Film Festival” di Los Angeles e si è classificata seconda nella graduatoria generale della categoria. Dopo l’avventura americana il docu-film tornerà in Europa per partecipare all’Heart of England International Film Festival in programma dal 10 al 15 agosto a Tamworth.

Il documentario racconta il sogno di ogni motociclista, che undici temerari VUNICI, ossia proprietari di una CR&S VUN e frequentatori di uno dei più originali moto club d’Italia, hanno realizzato nel 2007 sull’Isola di Man. Qui si svolge la famosa T.T. una gara unica al mondo il cui tracciato si snoda per 360 km in un circuito cittadino. Il viaggio è stato realizzato in occasione del centesimo anniversario dall’istituzione della gara (1907-2007) per assistere alle imprese del team Patton impegnato nella corsa.
Una competizione molto pericolosa sia per i corridori sia per gli spettatori: il pubblico può mettersi ovunque, a suo rischio e pericolo, anche a un metro di distanza da moto che sfrecciano a 300 km all’ora.

 

«Venire un giorno qui con la mia moto è sempre stato un sogno per me. Adesso ci sono riuscito.» Il fondatore della CR&S Roberto Crepaldi, che aveva più volte partecipato alla gara prima come supporto tecnico di John Britten e della sua BRITTEN V 1000, poi come team in proprio CR&S, ha vissuto l’emozione di tornarci con la VUN, la prima moto costruita con il proprio marchio, una monocilindrica stradale monoposto, leggera e maneggevole, dotata di tecnologia avanzata, di cui vengono prodotti circa 30 pezzi ogni anno.

Second Annual LA Moto Film Festival Announced

Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts filled the LA Cretins rooftop clubhouse with bikes to take in the 1st Annual Los Angeles Motorcycle Film Festival, Saturday October 23rd. The inaugural event benefited the charity organization Riders For Health and raised over $1,200.00 with raffles and donations. With the encouragement of the riding community and Riders for Health, the 2nd Annual LA Moto Film Fest is officially announced for early summer of 2011 with submissions now being accepted.
 
"There is tremendous dedication and talent within the motorcycle community, and much of that crosses over into their interest in film. They produced some of the most interesting niche motorcycle documentaries seen anywhere." said festival organizer, Mark Duncan.
 
2010 Festival winners were:

• Best Documentary: "Free Black Horse" by Ronald Price.
• Best Travelogue: "Hic Sunt Leones (Here be Dragons)" by Raffaele Canepa.
• Best Narrative: "A Prayer for Cool" by Marc Bencivenga.

In addition to the outdoor short film screenings, the event featured music, food, drinks and a bike show with prizes for various categories. Prizes were donated and raffled off from Progressive Suspension, SocalSuperMoto, Adams Motorsports Park, Bombay Motorsports, Jupiter's Cycles, WSMC, and Glory Sales & Service.
 
Lisa Johnson Bakker, Development Director for Riders for Health said, "Thanks to Mark Duncan and everyone at LA Motorcycle Film Festival for generously donating their time and energy to Riders for Health. The funds raised for Riders at this event will mobilize health workers across Africa and means that people living in rural areas will be reached with life saving care. The interest and momentum that builds for Riders here in the States is dependent upon these efforts and we are so grateful for the support of everyone who organized and participated in the LA Motorcycle Film Festival.”
 
"For next year, we hope to reach out to the film community at large and have a larger number of narrative films. From comedies to slasher films, zombie bikers to dramas, documentaries to stunt videos, if it's got motorcycles we want to see it!" invites Duncan. Call for submission is now open, seeking films, with a maximum length of 25 minutes. "Most films selected will be 5-10 minutes, so if it's long, it better be pretty spectacular!" adds Duncan. Trailers will also be accepted for features that the motorcycle world needs to see. Trailer submissions must include the full feature to be considered.
