CR&S acquire a Britten V1000.
This was the first Britten built for a client, and the third ever to be built.
CR&S’ activity as a Team began.
After some races on the Italian racing circuit, with Nangi Dones riding, the bike was taken to the UK to take part in the NorthWest 200 and Isle of Man TT. The rider was to be Irish ace Mark Farmer (photo of Mark Farmer). Tragically, during the TT trials, Mark skidded off the road, dying instantly after clocking the eight-fastest time. |
