The preparation of “specials” and the restoration of classic bikes began.

A phase of study and research began which, taking John Britten’s last project as its inspiration (a single-cylinder racing bike with a 1:1 power to weight ratio!), would lead to thousands of kilometres of bends being driven around (mainly on mountain roads) and the definition of the overall characteristics of the first CR&S-branded bike.
